Recensione del Obiettivo Diana + SLR adattatore (Review of Dreamy Diana lens + SLR adapter)

Per il mio compleanno (che arriverà la prossima settimana!), i miei genitori mi hanno regalato l’obiettivo Diana F+ 38mm con un SLR adattatore da usare con la mia fotocamera digitale. Amo l’effeto fantastico delle fottocamere giocattolo; le foto sono molto morbide e belle. Ovviamente, mi piacono anche le macchine fotografice che utilizzano i rullini, ma sono troppo care per usarle sempre. Questo adattatore è perfetto! Unisce la comparsa di una giocattolo ma la facilità e convenienza del digitale. Ho scattato tutte di queste foto durante questo fine settimana. Non ho modificato niente – gli effeti sono stati fatti con la fotocamera. Non vedo l’ora di usarla in Italia e in Grecia questa estate; parto domani!

I’ve been wanting to try the “Dreamy Diana” Lens — the Diana F+ 38mm with SLR adapter — for ages, so I was thrilled to receive it as a gift for my upcoming birthday (thanks, mom and dad!).  Of course, I love shooting with film cameras, but I really can’t afford to use them all the time.  This adapter is the perfect compromise; it combines the dreaminess of film with the ease of digital.  Plus, it allows for endless experimentation, since you can shoot as much as you’d like!  I’m having so much fun with it so far, and can’t wait to use it in Italy in Greece this summer.  Speaking of which, I leave tomorrow, eek!  Time to get packing!

Perseus è uno di miei soggetti favoriti per la fotografia, e spesso ho provato nuovi rullini e macchine fotografiche fotografandolo.  La prima foto è stata scattata con una macchina fotografica fotografandolo Polaroid One-Step “rainbow” e un rullino di Impossible Project PX-70.  Per la seconda foto, ho usato una nuova versione dello stesso rullino, con la mia SX-70.  Mi piacciono i colori di questa seconda versione, in particolare il verde e il blu.  Le foto non sono molto belle (erano solo prove!), ma il soggetto è così carino che mi sembrano speciali.

Si, ho scattato queste foto in giorni diversi –  riuscite a indovinare qual è la attivita preferita di questo levriero?

When testing new cameras and film, my lens often ends up focused on Perseus.  I took the first photo with a Polaroid One-Step “rainbow” camera and PX-70 “first flush” film from The Impossible Project, and the second with my SX-70 and a later version of the same film.  What a difference!  I love the richness of color in the newer PX films, especially the blues and greens.  Neither of these photos is particularly good (they were test snaps, afterall!), but I can’t help but love any photo of my pup. 

Oh yes, I took these on different days…can you tell what this greyhound’s favorite activity is?

Una Foto Polaroid: Le Scarpe d’Oro

Ho trovato queste scarpe in un negozio di abiti usati solo per cinque dollar.  Quando le ho viste, ho capito che le dovevo avere.  Scarpe dorate, coi paillettes?  Che fantastiche!  Ho fatto questa foto il giorno stesso, usando la mia Polariod SX-70 macchina fotografica e un rullino di Impossible Project.  Guardarla mi rende molto felice, quasi  felice come portarle (nonostante siano un po piccole)!  Piedi brillanti – perfetti per ballare.

When I spotted these amazing sequined gold shoes at the thrift store for $5, I knew I had to have them.  They are a tiny bit too small, but squished toes are a small price to pay for perfectly sparkly feet.  I took this photo the same day using my Polaroid SX-70 and film from The Impossible Project.
